More information :

Saint-Laurent-des-Arbres is a medieval village with remarkable architectural heritage. The village, situated among vineyards, is dominated by a fortified church built by Pope John XXII, typically in Provençal Romanesque style, and by a rectangular keep renovated in the 14th century, both classified as historical monuments since 1892. The Ribas Tower, which houses the Tourist Office and is near the keep, dates back to the Roman era and was classified as a historical monument in 1941. It contains a model of the village representing how the city might have appeared in the Middle Ages (a very useful educational tool for children and school visits). For relaxation, there are pine forests in the village suitable for hiking (GR 42).
