The departmental museum of Revermont, nestled at the heart of the village of Cuisiat, occupies the renovated building that once housed the town hall and school. This museum invites visitors to explore the specificities and heritage of this region, formerly known for its vineyards and clay soils used in the famous Meillonnas faience. A boys' classroom from the early 20th century has been reconstructed to offer a time-travel experience, enriched by a collection of toys and class photos gathered in Revermont between 1885 and 1939, which enhance the visit.
A particularity of this museum is its conservatory vegetable garden, which houses over 650 local plant varieties, some curious or forgotten. This educational garden highlights traditional and current uses of plants, gardening techniques, knowledge transmission, and biodiversity preservation, all displayed along the paths of the garden.
